My three happy things last week.

Croome Court, Worcestershire
Hello, Happy Monday!
Lets hope this Monday goes quick and we will all soon be back at home relaxing. I thought it would be nice to look back on my previous week, and share with you my three happy things, as it is a good way to start a new week on a positive note!

Croome Court, Worcestershire

Finding New places to visit.
James’s parents came to visit us last week and as it was such a sunny day we wanted to make the most of it. As one of our favourite places in Worcester, Spetchley park Garden’s, was closed I googled ‘places to see in Worcester’ and Croome Court came up (pictured above), which we thought looked interesting.
Croome Court is a National Trust park which has Walled Gardens, a beautiful lake and at the centre of the park is a fascinating 18th Century Manor House.
It was such a lovely day out and the scenery was amazing, we will definitely go back and its certainly worth a visit (especially if its sunny) if you live in the Worcestershire area and want a day out.
My friends Baby’s Christening
My oldest friend’s baby daughter got christened last Sunday, so I took a trip home to attend the ceremony! Sadly, James couldn’t make it as he was off skydiving (which didn’t go ahead, as the weather was too bad), but it was so nice to see some friends from home and then see my family afterwards, as I hadn’t seen them since before my birthday.

Shopping for home additions
As I went to Nottinghamshire for the christening, whilst I was home me and my mum paid a visit to IKEA, being as there isn’t one too close to Worcester (not to self, don’t go to IKEA on a Sunday!).
I picked up a few bits and bobs for our living room that I’ve wanted for awhile. I bought a black reading lamp, a plant that looks a little bit like a small palm tree (?!?) and a A3 photo frame for a painting that we picked up from our travels in Thassos, Greece.
I also went into TKMAXX whilst at home as it’s on the same retail park as IKEA, and I was very happy to see all the autumnal candles out on the shelves, which got me very excited for the cosy evenings and dare I say it…Christmas!!
So that’s my round up of my three happy things from last week. This week, I’m looking forward to my Mum and Sister coming to stay on Tuesday and then on Wednesday we are going to see the new film Mamma Mia! (I’ve heard so many good things). What was your favourite part of last week? Let me know!
