My Three Happy things #2

Colourful houses, Worcester

Hello, Happy Monday again!

I can’t believe how quick this week has gone! I hope you are all having a nice bank holiday Monday, or if you are working like me, I hope it is going quick for you. Me and James are heading off for a last minute get away to Croyde Bay, Devon again when I finish work tonight, so I’m looking forward to that… hopefully the M5 isn’t too busy! I also hope it doesn’t rain too much as we are camping this time instead of staying in a bed and breakfast. I wrote a blog post about our last stay in Devon, if you want to check it out the link is here.

As I enjoyed writing this post last week, you can read it here if you missed it, I thought I would do another round up of the three things that made me happy last week…

Colourful houses, Worcester

My Mum and Sister coming to stay

My Mum and sister came up to visit from Nottinghamshire/Lincoln on Tuesday night and stayed over. On the Wednesday, we went shopping around Worcester (I bought a pottery pumpkin and a pumpkin candle. I’m ready for Autumn now) and then we went to see ‘Mamma Mia! Here we go again’ (not really sure how I feel about the film?! I really wanted to love it..). It was so lovely to see them both and just potter around together like we used to as I won’t be seeing them both for a little while now.

Adding more Vinyls to my collection

Spice girls Vinyl

As I got a record player for my birthday at the start of August, I needed to actually get some records to play on it, so it wasn’t just looking pretty in my living room.

My sister bought me a HMV voucher for my birthday, so I decided to spend it on a vinyl. Out of the 100’s of vinyls to choose from, I decided to go for Spice Girls. Classic.

I couldn’t wait to play it when I got home and it definitely brings back childhood memories. Although it doesn’t include ‘Spice up Your life’, which I thought was slightly odd?!

My favourite Spice Girl was always sporty spice, I’m not sure why as I was never particularly sporty. Who was yours?

My blog

Even though I always enjoy writing my blog, this week, I have felt really inspired by potential content that I want to include on my blog and also my Instagram. I have so many ideas for posts and I feel really excited to turn all my ideas into posts (even if no-one end up reading them haha).
Since starting my blog at the beginning of March, I have also spoken to some really lovely people in the blogging community, who have all been very supportive. So thank you!

So there is my round up of my three happy things from last week! I hope you have enjoyed reading this, please let me know what your favourite part of last week was in the comments below…
