My happy things #4

Bloom and Wild Flowers

Classic British Style

Hello, I hope you are all good!

I haven’t wrote a blog post in what feels like so long, but feel refreshed after a little break. I haven’t been anywhere in particular, just life getting in the way!

I thought I would do another round up of things that have made me happy as I really enjoy writing these types of lifestyle posts. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I like writing them!

Finding new Series to Watch on TV – We started watching WestWorld (we have now finished series 1) which is amazing!! WestWorld is an American Sci-fi series that’s based in an old style Western World full of cowboys and outlaws, but nothing is quite as it seems… I’m not going to tell you too much as I don’t want to spoil anything if you haven’t seen it. But honestly its so good! I can’t wait to start series 2. Let me know if you have watched it, or if there is something gripping that you recommend.

Bloom and Wild Flowers

Fresh Flowers Through the door – I ordered myself some flowers from Bloom & Wild after seeing their flowers all over Instagram. Bloom & Wild are an online company that deliver flowers (next day!) through your letter box. I ordered ‘The Harper’ Bouquet (seen in the picture) and the flowers were absolutely beautiful! I really enjoyed putting the bouquet together myself and the service from Bloom and Wild was amazing aswell. It was a lovely thing to come home too after a busy day at work and would be a great gift for someone special (or just for yourself!).

My Friends Coming to visit – A couple of weeks ago now, two of my friends came to visit me in Worcester. It was such a nice day and it was so good to see them. Sadly, we struggle to meet up regularly as I don’t live near them now and life so often gets in the way. We spent the day walking around Worcester and the river (spying on lots of cute dogs!!), and then went to a restaurant/hotel which overlooked the river and enjoyed some lunch.

Autumn – What an amazing Summer we had in the UK! I loved the warm weather (I think I’m definitely more of a summer person) but I am quite happy that its getting a little crisper in the mornings and all of the trees are now orange/red. I especially love it in the evenings as I can light a candle and get cosy. I know some people will hate me saying this as its too early, but I also can’t wait for Christmas!!

So that’s all for my Happy things over the past…month (oops!). I’m planning on posting more regularly again but life has been hectic and I haven’t had a day off where I can just write. Let me know what has made you particularly happy, or if you have anything you are especially looking forward too.

  1. I always love finding a new TV series to binge watch, I haven’t seen any of Westworld! I’m super excited for Christmas too and it’s not even that far away anymore so I think it’s acceptable to mention it!

  2. Wow! Those flowers are absolutely beautiful and even better they arrive the next day, what fantastic service! It’s always nice to treat yourself especially after a busy day. It sounds like you had a lovely day with your friends and yay for cute dogs! I love the colours of Autumn too, it is such a cosy season. I’m also excited for Christmas too, he he. Fab post Sophie, thank you for sharing your happy things! ❤ xx
